Below is a cross section of just some of our chinchillas, from our very first to some of our most recently born. I hope you like them all, I think they are stunning, but then I’m a little biased!

This is Smudge, he is our very special chinchilla, as he was our first, we got him in the summer of 2001! Smudge is a Wilson White.

Unfortunately on the 31.05.2004 Smudge passed away from a stroke in his sleep.

RIP little fella

This is Smudge with his girlfriend Molly a Standard Female.

On the day that Smudge died Molly gave birth to his son Smudger.

They are the only pet quality pair I now own, but equally if not more special then the others!
This is Lolly, one of my Standard Females at the National Chinchilla Society's Annual National show 2001 winning 1st in her class, reserve best female and reserve best standard. She now lives in Scotland with my friend Julie.
 
This is Babe, she is my darling Pink White, this is a picture of her when she was born, I had to help hand rear her, as her mum had problems producing milk.
This is Babe again, she used to sleep like this in my hands, so was and is so sweet.

I am hoping she will have her first litter this year and I am so excited.

This is Babe again; she blossomed into one of the most beautiful chinchillas I have ever seen!

You will notice Babe is used as the Banner for this site, this is because I love her sooo much and just love showing her off at every opportunity!
Just after this picture of her was taken (at the age of 5 mths) she went on to win NCS National Mutation 2003!

This is Hunny she was my first baby ever born! She was a big beautiful beige baby girl and very sweet, when grooming her for shows she would lay on her back so I could do her belly! She is soooooooo friendly!

Hunny had her first litter 04.06.2004 they were triplets, one standard female, and a beige female and male, all are very cheeky just like their mum! but gorgeous too just like hun. this is a pc of them, but it doesn't do them justice, I think they will all be very nice animals indeed - watch this space!
 
This is my 1st winning Black Velvet male. He was bred by Joyce Garvey, he is strikingly black.
This is Nutta, a new addition to the family he is a gorgeous black velvet bred by Joan Davis.
Nutta again. Pics don't do justice he is VERY black with no grey through his neck or flanks.
This is Kara one of the many beautiful standard females I have bred. She now lives with Ian of Chinchillaworld.
This is Kiki, Kara’s (above) sister. She is the bigger of the 2, but a little lighter. I have her in breeding with my Reserve Show Champion Wilson White, Angel pictured below.
These are the kits from Kiki's first litter, she had x2 silver females (and a small standard male, who unfortunately didn't make it).

They are called Gabby and Elle as dad is Angel and Gabriel was an angel so I split the name!!!

Note how her colour has lightened, her sister is also the same.
This is Callie another of my Standard Females, she won 1st & Best Standard female at 2 shows, including the NCS National Show 2003.
This is Callie's first litter, she had all standard female quads, I lost 1 on day 4 but the other 3 are now getting very big and very strong, they will be stars of the future I am sure!
This is Fonzi, My beautiful Little Homo Ebony Male, he won x3 1st including a National 2004 and best young mutation.

He now lives with Kelly Smith, a very good friend who has many of my other chinchillas.
This is him at Kelly house where he is very Happy, I hope to have a baby back in the future.
This is Kinky (name aptly as she has a kink at the end of her tail) and Kola, they are Sharon's daughters and half sisters to Kiki and Kara above (mum also Sharon).

They are both sweet little angels who will do very well in the future I am sure.

This is Tatty, Fonzi’ s mum! She is a lovely Homo Ebony Female from Paul Spooner.
This is William a Dark Standard male, he lives with Jacci and is helping to improve the quality of Ebonies in the UK.
This is Coco, my Tan import. We travelled to Holland to collect her in Jan of 2003! She was worth all the money and hassle, but I would say - Never again! It cost us too much and untrustworthy people were involved in “helping” us. Anyone planning on importing pls arrange everything yourself as it can be a nightmare!

Unfortunately Coco had to be put to sleep earlier this year as she developed malocclusion.
This is Kelkoo, she is a dark Hetero Ebony Female from Paul Spooner, and she is a real sweetie ever so friendly.
This is Splodge; she is a Wilson White female from Paul Spooner.

She is a huge big blob and loves a tickle under her chin!
This is Dee a hetero ebony female, she was bred by Lynn Gardener and won a 3rd at the National 2002
This year Dee bred me my first set of quads, 3 hetero males and a hetero female, the female only lived for a day despite my best efforts.

This is Dee a large hetero ebony female bred by Paul Spooner.
This is Dee's first litter for me, she had male and female hetero ebonies.
This is the female, who is going to live with Stella a friend who has Beauty and Ballo (pls see How It All Started)

This is Obi Wan, Kelkoo's son for last years litter when he was a tot, he now lives with Becky.
This is Angel he is my Reserve Show Champion Wilson White Male.


He has so far fathered 9 babies since August. 6 being Wilson white.

10.10.2004 I found Angel asleep in his cage - RIP now he lives his namesake in heaven.

This is his son, I have high hopes for him at the shows this season, he is a lovely chin very easy on the eye and very friendly too.
Here he is again, just under 3 months in this pic, he is very white and very blue.
This is one of the first babies I ever bred; he is called biscuit as he used to eat everything and anything! He also lives with my friend Kelly.
This is Chip; he is a Grand and Reserve Show Champion, bred by Eddie and Richard Crutchley. He is a stunning Ex Dark Standard Grey, his only bad points is he is quite small, so is being bred to the biggest stds I have.

Chip has become a dad 16.07.2004 to a beautiful and amazingly dark black velvet female, mum is a huge black velvet bred by Paul Spooner.
Here she is, no name as yet, but I'm sure she'll have one soon! she is massive too at 60g she's going to be a big girlie fingers crossed!
This is Splodge again Looking quite tired having her tea; she has some lovely babies for me and is a super doper mum!
This is Frij and Boo her first litter she gave me last year, both females.

On the 10.06.2004 she bred me another litter of a Standard and Wilson White female.
This Frij (names after a frisian cow!) again, she now lives with a breeder in Scotland.
This is Rascal, he has won many 1st Ribbons and Best Mutation Awards, we will shortly be going into breeding with 2 nice standard females.

This is Fizz, one of my breeding females. She is a Dark Standard.

Fizz is due to have a litter on the 25th July.
This is Tidge a 1st Ribbon winning beige female; she has gone into breeding with Curly the Standard Champion above.
Tidge again, she is a beautiful big blocky beige.
This is Pugy Bear a Standard Male I bred; he now lives with Lisa near Kent.
 
This is Pugy again. He won high awards at Portsmouth show 2004.
This is Archie a new family member, he is a lovely chin, very quiet but genuine. He is a violet bred by Lynn Gardener.
This is my little Treasure, she is Peaches Daughter, my Reserve National Grand Show Champion 2001 Brown velvet.

She is very pale, but amazingly blue I hope she will do well, but if she doesn't she will stay here and breed wonderful beiges I am sure.
This is her again, she is massive already as single kits tend to come on well, I hope she will be as good as I anticipate.
This is Haze, another newbie, she is bred by Paul Spooner, 2 years old and a beige violet, her colour just glows these pics really don't do her justice.

This is Dana, she is a pink white baby, Misty is her mum & Teddy is her dad (also Angel's full sister different litter).
As you can see she has very pretty markings.

She is such a little cherub and her sister, both are so much fun!
This is Wilbur, a Pink white male a day old, he is coming on lovely and will be a big stunner like his dad Max.
This is Wilbur 3 weeks, he is provisionally reserved for Kelly Smith.
Another little star, this is Jodie, she is a medium tan Matthew brought me as my birthday present, she could never replace Coco above, but she is a fantastic little chinny, and so soft with it, all she does is sleep!

This is Baby Squeaker, a gorgeous standard male just one day old, he is such a character and always makes me laugh when I am in the unit!

I think he will be really nice and have high hopes for him this coming showing season.
