Sunday 10th October 2004

Gutted today, because I found Angel my Reserve Show Champion Wilson White male dead in the run of his cages, he was only almost 3 I am so distraught to have lost him, he was doing so much for the improvement in Wilson Whites in the UK, he bred me some beautiful babies, and I hope his memory lives on in his sons.

Saturday 9th October 2004

Well once again I have been a bit lapse in updating my news!!! I have had lots more kits, so here we go:

07.10.2004 - Lottie (Standard Female) has had her 2nd litter for me, but what an emergency! I had checked Thursday morning before work and nothing, but lunchtime, well 1.40ish I had to be brought home ill, before I trundled off to bed I wanted to check on the chins, blinking good job too! there were 2 huge stds, laying on the bottom of the cage, well I thought they were dead, so I scooped them up, and as I did the both squeaked! Even though it wasn't particularly cold they were both froze, so I had to run in, dunk them in warm water to bring them back. One male and one female, she was much worse, I had to have the hair dryer on them for half an hour then on a towel on the radiator whilst I went out moved mum into a better cage and place 2 heat mats on (which electrocuted me btw!!!). Anyway they are now 2 days old and thriving! I really hope they make it, I haven't weighed them, but I would say 50-60gms+ (Dad Curly - Standard Male).

12.09.2004 - Gee-gee (Beige Female) gave birth to another 2 HUGE kits, the first a striking Wilson white female, was 3 hours in labour, still born when she came out she was a massive 69gms! the next kit was a Wilson white male, equally as pretty and very alive! he was 63gms and is very quickly becoming a favourite!  (Dad Angel - Wilson White Male).

27.08.2004 - Tidge (Standard Female) Midges daughter, gave birth to another 2 whoppers 63 & 67gms!!! both beautiful beige males. Unfortunately I made do with a comb as a hole shutter as I had run out, and dad pushed it out killing the biggest and better of the 2 babies when they were just a few days old, I was riddled with guilt, it was a stupid accident I will NOT let happen again. (Dad Curly - Standard Male).

26.08.2004 - Kelkoo (Ex Dk Hetero Ebony Female) had her 2nd litter for me, and my 4th set (and hopefully final) of quads this year! there was 1 ex dk het female and 2 males, 1 dk het and 1 homo, and a still born homo female. (Dad Bo - Ex Dk Hetero Ebony Male). All Reserved.

Midge (Standard Female) had her litter bang on the expected day (and the day Twinkle should have had hers), she had 2 MASSIVE black velvet males, weighing 51 & 54gms!!! (Dad Al - Black Velvet Male). x1 Reserved.

14.08.2004 - Twinkle (Beige V/C Female) Gave birth to 2 beiges, one was 27gms and a female still born, other 38gms and a male they were premature by a week and a half, so I was lucky to have the male, he is small, but normal size if he had been born on time if you know what I mean! stunning colour so I hope he comes on well. (Dad Al - Black Velvet Male).

27.07.2004 - Haze (Beige Violet Female) gave birth to a gorgeous Violet female, have called her Amma, hopefully I will keep her, lovely colour, light which I like, nice shape when born, but a little long now so we'll see! (Dad Violet of Paul Spooner).

22.07.2004 - Fizz (Standard Female) gave birth to my 3rd lot of quads!!! 2 females, 2 males, all standard. I had to surrogate the biggest male to CK who lived for 5days but sadly passed away. Not sure why but very upsetting. The other 3 appear to be doing well and coming on lovely. In fact I think they are the best  have bred this year, so fingers crossed! (Dad Fred - Standard Male).

Sunday 19th September 2004

Wow first show of the season, gosh how quickly time flies! well me and Matthew stewarded today! t was great fun, and put a different perspective of the show from that side of the bench.

My chins did ok, Gabbit, ww male, won a 2nd and was unlucky not to get 1st, but Lyn Gardener had a cracker who piped him. My tan, Jodie won a 3rd, my hetero eb female won a 3rd, my beige male (who was pet really) won a HC in a very large class and my Black Velvet won a 1st shown under Joan Davis as she bred him.

Not bad, 7 chins and 5 ribbons. I also took 2 het eb males, but Eddie didn't like them and lost me £60 in a sale, annoyed too as they were 4 months and a day, so far too young to judge the things said about them fairly, and only put them in the show so the girl could collect, but never mind, her loss not mine. Every judge is different so I shall show him again as I know they are nice animals.

Sunday 18th July 2004

I have now updated my NCS News and Events Page, pls check it out for forth coming shows and field days.

Saturday 17th July 2004

Well must apologise to all those who like to catch up with what I have been doing! it's been a bit hectic and the site hasn't been updated, below are a list of babies and D.O.B's. Please see Our chins page for pics of some of these listed below. Kit count now 30!

16.07.2004 - Shadow (Black Velvet Female) had her 2nd litter for me, the first I found wasn't very nice it was a black velvet male but had not much middle left, so I presume a difficult birth, as tucked under mum all snuggle warm and loved was the most gorgeous black velvet kit, she was so black I thought my eb male had maybe got in lol! she was 60g and is so lovely I am thrilled. Shadow's last kit was a brown velvet who won a few first, so fingers crossed she is big like her mommy! (Dad Curly - Standard Male [first litter])

10.07.2004 - Hermine (Standard Female) is a German import and has always been so quiet, but since putting her with Max she has totally come out of herself, he's been so good for her. Anyway last litter she gave me 2 standard males who did really well at the shows, this time she had a silver male ad what I thought was a pink white male, but day 2 proved he is a very very pale beige, but beautiful. Both are very long I hope they will be nice. (Dad Max - Pink White)

02.07.2004 - CK (Beige Female) has also not bred since coming from Helen's and I'd almost given up when she had a VERY cute little standard male, I have called him Squeaker as it's all he does! he's certainly a character and fur looks immaculate. (Dad Fred - Standard Male) SOLD.

22.06.2004 - Tatty (Homo Ebony Female) gave birth to a single kit again, this time a light hetero ebony female, which is lovely shape and size, and good clarity of colour. She is reserved for Jacci Shaw. (Dad Bo - Ex Dk Hetero Ebony Male) SOLD.

21..06.2004 - Puddles (Standard Female) since Ollie in 2002 has had no kits, so I was delighted when she had 2 females, 1 beige and 1 standard, both amazing fur so tight for babies, both were doing great til day 3 when the little standard was freezing, in the middle of summer I still do not know why but I lost her, I was very upset as mum is now almost 10 and due for retirement she would have kept the line alive. So the little beige I have called Purdy and she is gorgeous, quite a dark beige so not sure how she will fair at the shows, but I don't care I know her history and I will be keeping. (Dad Teddy - Beige Male).

14.06.2004 - Peaches (Brown Velvet Female) had her 2nd litter for me, again it was just a single kit, but wasn't at all a disappointment! she had a brown velvet female, just gorgeous, so I am very excited about her, I have called her treasure and she will be staying here with me, even for a million pounds! (well maybe she could go for a million but only a good home!!!). (Dad Fred - Standard Male).

13.06.2004 - Mia's (Standard Female) Highly anticipated litter finally came today, one beige male and one beige female, I am hoping I will be able to have another litter after a good rest, but I fear this may be my last so I am thrilled they are so good. Both very pale and very blue, they were very small and slow starters but now they are piling on the pounds! Fingers crossed for the shows, the male is better then the female, but neither of these 2 are gong anywhere! (Dad Teddy - Beige Male).

12.06.2004 - Sharon (Standard Female) Gave birth right in front of me, mid morning, she had x2 standard females, then a 3rd still born standard female. The girls are lovely, named Kinky and Kola, Kinky got her name as she has a kink on the end of her tail, I think it must have broken and fused back inside mum, but she suffers no pain. Both are lovely girls and very big already, so fingers crossed they are going to be whoppers! (Dad Fred - Standard Male).

11.06.2004 - Spike (Standard Female) gave birth to a gorgeous Pink White male, have called him Wilbur, he was 63g!!! so a whopper, he is not peachy at all, he is very white so I have high hopes. (Dad Max - Pink White Male). SOLD.

10.06.2004 - Splodge (Wilson White) gave birth to 3 females, x1 silver and x2 standard females. day 5 I lost 1 standard, not sure why but very upsetting. The other 2 appear to be doing well and coming on lovely. Both are reserved. (Dad Ed - Standard Male). SOLD.

04.06.2004 - Hunny (my first kit I ever bred, Beige Female) had her fist litter today, she had triplets, 1 standard female and 1 beige male & female. All are gorgeous and big bags of fun just like mum! Hunny has been a dream mum I couldn't have planned it better, what a good chin she is. All he kits like to sit on her! this is a new one on my but they love it and she's happy! Gong to give her 6 months off after this as she's done so well, I'm chuffed to bits with her. None are reserved (Dad Ed - Standard Male).

Kiki (Standard Female) had her first litter of triplets, 2 silver females and a standard male, both girls good weight over 55g but the little male was just 37g the smallest kit I have ever had, he died day 2 of his little life. The 2 females are both coming on lovely (Angel is dad) and are reserved if I decide to sell. (Dad Angel - Wilson White Male) Both Reserved.

Callie (Standard Female) gave birth to my 2nd litter of quads for 2004, and her first litter. I kept all alive and growing well til day four when she killed one. She has tended to the others with no problems and I am confident in her abilities as a mum. All 4 were standard females. None are reserved yet. (Dad Fred - Standard Male)

29.05.2004 - Misty (Wilson White Female) gave birth to 2 females, one Pink White and one Standard. Both are lovely. The standard female is reserved and I have a waiting list for the pink white should I sell her. (Dad Teddy - Beige Male) Standard SOLD, Pink White Reserved.

19.05.2004 - Dee (Medium Hetero Ebony Female) had my first litter of Quads!!! - Unfortunately I lost the only female after day 1, but the other 3 males are all looking very nice and have homes reserved already. All kits were Medium Dark Hetero ebony. (Dad Bo - Ex Dk het eb Male) ALL SOLD.

Just putting the finishing touches to my updated website – like this page!

Jacci Shaw has just been, have chatting to her on CU for ages she came to pick up a gorgeous young standard male who won best std at Portsmouth in Feb. She plans to breed him to her ebonies, which are some of the best I have seen, they are really very good and I hope she will let me have a baby for my lines in the future.

Jacci and her husband were both very lovely chatted for about an hour, and then when they had left I had my Easter Monday lunch!! Yummy!!!
